Nairobi Declaration

The first International Expert Meeting on Sport for Development was organized in Nairobi Kenya from the 28th to the 30th of November 2013. The meeting was attended by more than 30 representatives from 9 different countries


Kenya Sports for Development Partnership (KSDP) Post World Cup Peace Tourney

Dear Members,

KSDP purposes to use the post world cup experience to bring young people across the country through sports to comemorate the International Day of Peace on 21st September 2014 under the International Theme, "Right of Peoples to Peace"

Survival in the dark wilderness inside cold foreign land

1st April 2014: The fateful night
As I had imagined, I thought it was a pleasant blessing to be under uncle’s care and more so to stay
abroad or in a new country apart from country of origin. I used to attend Kakuma Arid Zone Primary
school before my fate turned unfavourable. My mother was generous and donated me to my uncle
who is a nomadic pastoralist keeping goats and sheep.

The above named boy was handed over to Child and Family Protection Unit (CFPU) by soldiers of Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF) on 03/04/2014.

Utrecht Municipality Exchange

NSA, Oikos and the municipality of Utrecht in conjunction with Seeds of Peace Africa, have developed a proposal for an exchange visit of three to four Peace and Sports facilitators to the Netherlands scheduled for September this year.
